Detail investigations have led us to a 1:1 mockup for a
component of the final assembly. Here we investigate potential limitations in
material transparency (this allowed us to differentiate between opaque and translucent
Corian) and tolerance. While we continue to work on refining this component, we
have relentlessly gone back and forth (from detail to material investigation) to
decide the most optimal lighting effects and constructability.
